Sweet hallelujah praise be the usually-screwing-me-over cancellation gods!
Episode two of We Are Men was much the same mediocre humor soup that somehow misses the mark every time (except for the racist dog. For some reason, that cracked me up). I think the main problem with the show was that there really was no heart.
There was no emotional connection to any of the characters, so as each of them dealt with supposedly emotionally charged situations this week, I didn't care how it turned out. One guy was bummed about missing a campout with his daughter. I usually love that stuff, but I was just bored. One guy tried to dog-nap his pet from his ex-wife who doesn't even like dogs. That could be funny, but it wasn't. I don't even care about the drama of the other two.
All I can say is that I look forward to seeing what CBS can come up with to replace it because the only way is up.
