It all comes down with the guest star potential girlfriend to Seth Green character, the hot girl who is a horrible comedienne by trade, one who never stops doing awful bits. But here we get stuck in a spiral of awfulness--the portrayal and focus on the awful bit comedienne is in of itself an awful bit. Sure, we're in on the joke that she isn't funny, but I don't have it in me to laugh for twenty minutes at someone being not funny. The only moment that got me with a real life was when the house-cleaner Edna pantomimed going at her with the broom.
This was a bad utilization of talent, I'm losing whatever charm was there, I want more tight-knit stories with genuine cleverness in the writing. I don't even have a fond moment of Seth Green from this episode. This hurts my soul, and my need for evening ginger delight.
